Recently, the comprehensive gymnasium of Guangdong Second Normal University (Huadu Campus), which First Audio participated in the construction, was officially put into use to meet the sound reinforcement needs of the school for various large and medium-sized activities.
The comprehensive gymnasium is an important place for school sports activities and large-scale theatrical performances. It covers an area of about 3,500 square meters and can accommodate nearly 4,000 people. In order to improve the sound effect of the gymnasium and allow every teacher and student to enjoy a better listening experience, the First audio engineering technical team worked closely with Guangdong Second Normal University to cover everything from design, construction, and installation to system debugging and engineering. The First audio engineering team provided one-stop service for the acceptance inspection and built a professional sound reinforcement system for the comprehensive stadium.
In order to improve the speech intelligibility as much as possible and reduce the reflection of sound from the wall, according to the area and architectural features of the gymnasium, the design was carried out with reference to the first level of the national hall sound reinforcement design standard. High-directional speakers were used to control the directivity as much as possible. Reduce the influence of adverse factors caused by diffuse reflection of sound energy, sound interference, sound focusing, etc.
16 double 8" line array speakers and 8 line array low-frequency speakers (8+4 on one side) form the main sound reinforcement system of the venue. This combination can effectively restore large dynamic sounds and make the sound fuller and more delicate;
At the same time, this product has strong directivity, which can better concentrate the sound in the audience area, making the sound coverage even, stable and clear.
In order to give the audience in the stands a better listening experience, 12 auxiliary speakers were added, which were suspended and installed above the stadium on three sides. They can be used in two situations: one is to fill in the sound when events are held. The function of the box is to cooperate with the main amplification line array to produce excellent sound amplification effect; secondly, under competition events, it plays the role of distributed main amplification and zone sound amplification, which can meet the sound amplification needs of various event modes.
